Frequently Asked Questions

How do I post a new project?
Navigate to "Post New Project" from the sidebar. Fill in the project details including title, description, budget range, category, and timeline. You can save as draft or publish immediately.
How does the payment system work?
Payments are milestone-based. When you accept a proposal, the agreed milestones and amounts are set. As the contractor completes each milestone, you review and approve payment. Funds are held securely until you approve.
How do I find and hire a contractor?
You can either post a project and wait for proposals, or search the contractor directory to find and invite specific contractors. Review their profiles, ratings, and past work before making a decision.
Can I cancel a project after it's started?
Yes, but completed milestones must still be paid. Contact the contractor through messaging first to discuss any concerns. You can cancel from the project management page.
How do I leave a review?
After a project is marked complete, you'll receive a notification to leave a review. You can also go to the contractor's profile page and click "Write a Review" for any completed project.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. We use Stripe for payment processing, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Your card details are never stored on our servers — they go directly to Stripe's secure infrastructure.
